Position Overview:

The Baxter User Experience (UX) design team supports the Care Solutions Connectivity team with interaction, visual design, ethnographic research, human factors, usability research and testing. Our designers work collaboratively with stakeholders and customers to research, design and implement competitively differentiated user experience solutions for clinicians and patients.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working closely with our UX team as well as our cross functional/cross location project teams and able to function with limited supervision in support of our projects. A design intern in this role will be familiar with: visual design, interaction design, usability testing, user research, information architecture, and design documentation. They must demonstrate a passion for design, strong collaboration skills and a proficiency in concept development and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be able to communicate design intent through storyboards, user-stories, workflows, wireframes and visual designs from low fidelity prototypes through final design assets.

Provides support for usability testing and customer research.

Supports the broader UX team in design documentation.

Collaborative team member with good written and verbal communication skills



Required Background

A Bachelor's degree candidate in one or more of the following:
* User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Visual Design, Design Research
* Use of design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, OmniGraffle, Sketch, Figma
