Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer science or similar vocations.
- Four (4) years of equivalent combination of experience and education, would be considered in lieu of degree.
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, peripherals, network servers and RAID configuration
- The use of basic hand tools, virus scanning tools, “Ghosts” type software, utility software, scanners, biometric readers, printers, touch screens, external drives
Essential Functions:
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems by replacing defective components.
- Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Build, load, and configure new computers for production.
- Conducts research on new technology as requested in order to stay abreast of any new releases and features of business operating systems and software utilized by the organization.
- Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of computer component parts used in repair work.
- Performs LAN/hard disk backups.
- Conducts research on new technology.
