Desired Skills and Experience:
Four (4) year degree in Controls Engineering; Electronics Engineering; Electrical Engineering. Past experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Three (3) - Five (5) years progressively responsible related experience, including participation as a key team member in one or more large (greater than $1MM) projects.
Essential Functions:
Create and develop PLC, HMI, Robot, control programs as required and during new equipment commissioning and modifications, ECI’s (Engineering change instructions).
Performs project management duties for controls portion of development projects
Participates in the analysis and diagnosis of identified issues using problem-solving techniques and group decision-making methods when issues are escalated; supports activities to resolve the issue and engages appropriate software development resources if necessary.
Pro-actively identifies and addresses support situations that could jeopardize customer satisfaction; analyzes problem trends at customer sites through preparation and review of case reports. Provides the results of the analysis to the controls team for incorporation into the product roadmap
Demonstrated capability with CAD applications including AutoCAD.
