Desired Skills and Experience:
- Four (4) year degree in Controls Engineering; Electronics Engineering; Electrical Engineering. Past experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Three (3) - Five (5) years progressively responsible related experience, including participation as a key team member in one or more large (greater than $1MM) projects.
Essential Functions:
- Create and develop PLC, HMI, Robot, control programs as required and during new equipment commissioning and modifications, ECI’s (Engineering change instructions).
- Performs project management duties for controls portion of development projects
- Participates in the analysis and diagnosis of identified issues using problem-solving techniques and group decision-making methods when issues are escalated; supports activities to resolve the issue and engages appropriate software development resources if necessary.
- Pro-actively identifies and addresses support situations that could jeopardize customer satisfaction; analyzes problem trends at customer sites through preparation and review of case reports. Provides the results of the analysis to the controls team for incorporation into the product roadmap
- Demonstrated capability with CAD applications including AutoCAD.
