Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
5 years’ experience in one or more of the following competency areas: computer sciences, information systems, software engineering, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or similar vocations.
Strong knowledge of software/database: XML, Oracle 8i, 10g, 11g, 12c,19, PL/SQL; familiarity with database administration tools like TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, Oracle DBA Studio/Enterprise Manager, SQLPLUS.
Strong knowledge of SQL database software, such as Oracle.
Familiarity with database administration tools, such as TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, Oracle DBA Studio/Enterprise Manager, or SQLPLUS.
Comprehensive Understanding of the following technologies;
Windows Server Active Directory and DNS
Windows Server Configuration and Setup
Windows OS Configuration and Setup
IPv4 Networking
Office Suite applications
Basic understanding of the following technologies;
VMware virtualization
Hardware RAID configurations
PLC Controlled Automation
Ability to travel.
Ability to lift and/or move 50+lbs.
Essential Functions:
Provide onsite and remote software implementation, installation, and configuration of high-volume pharmacy automation systems; works with Customers, Sales, Customer Care, and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are recognized.
Review project designs, customer business models and workflow with project managers to identify standards and custom configuration requirements; gather and communicate computer software, hardware, and network requirements for the project.
Develops detailed project plans, coordinate customer activities, and manages system build processes.
Creates bill of materials for computer software, hardware, peripherals, network devices and licensing requirements of the project; assists in coordinating procurement activities with the purchasing department when necessary.
Builds clustered and stand-alone Windows based server solutions, VMware based virtual server environments, workstation computers, and secure systems networks per the requirements of the project.
Builds Oracle database environments, including making SQL database queries and configuration changes.
Installs, configures and troubleshoots the proprietary software suite (PPS) and runtime library components; assists Control Engineers with troubleshooting automation devices.
Coordinates Host Interface configuration, development, and testing activities.
Installs, configures and troubleshoots third-party firmware, network devices, scanners, labelers, and other peripherals as required
Develops test plans and conducts in-house project testing of the system.
