The Radiological Controls Technician (RCT) position offers hands-on experience in an industrial work environment including the performance of radiological surveys in support of radiological work evolutions, and response to unexpected conditions. An RCT maintains and operates radiation measuring equipment; conducts radiological surveys and performs radiological sampling; interprets survey and sample data; and can document survey and sample data. The RCT must uphold the radiological standards during the performance of work and use resources efficiently. An RCT will carry out independent responsibilities, work as a team with group performing work, and will demonstrate leadership when carrying out radiological work tasks.
