The Stellantis Software organization (SWX) was established to build the most captivating experiences in the latest frontier of automotive technology. As part of that foundation we are seeking a Submodule Manager for the AutoDrive Project. The individual should be an experienced leader, have the ability to develop and supervise a competent team that can work across multiple functions and will support the Software and Hardware Engineering organization.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Engages with all the stakeholders to meet the project's objectives
  • Articulates with strategy (PLAN) for roll out definition, funding negotiation, milestones preparation
  • Articulates with all vehicle programs and with quality division (CX), and reports the progresses and impediments
  • Consolidates the global brands & product needs and negotiates the FRP with engineering
  • Sets intermediate targets in order to meet the project's objectives
  • Owns the entire set of the quality costs timing performances targets, and is subsequently empowered to make every necessary decision to meet the project's objectives for their responsible submodule
  • Responsible for horizontal alignment of technical solutions driving standardization and simplification
  • Coordinates all the submodule development activities, notably between the vehicle system, sub-systems and industrial systems and between the project and the vehicle platform
  • Coordinates resources needed for project execution
  • Interfaces with purchasing for material cost convergence and supplier spending management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (accredited by ABET or ABET-equivalent)
  • 12 years of overall experience
  • 5 years of experience leading a team
  • 5 years of experience as a project manager managing large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with cross-functional teams
  • 5 years of experience in product development and launching complex systems
  • Experience defining and executing product development KPIs
  • Solid understanding of software and hardware development life cycle models
  • Proven knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
  • Creative, natural leader, fast learner, ready to evolve in a fast-growing environment, and eager to guide and coach people in a multicultural & international organization
  • Proven track record in technical leadership and program management
  • Proven ability to lead complex development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
  • Experience managing development and execution of vehicle launches from cradle to grave

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
  • Experience managing a global team
  • ASPICE and ISO 26262 certifications/training
  • Software quality management
  • PMP certification
