1871 seeks a professionally driven, creative, and highly motivated individual who will support the Director of Affinity Programs in identifying efficiencies and creating streamlined processes in delivering specialty programs to the community.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Mentor sourcing and onboarding process analysis and tracking
  • Affinity cohort acceptance and onboarding analysis and tracking
  • Create universal process for workshop speaker sourcing, booking and tracking
  • Sourcing and organization of talent related contacts
  • Asses, update, and maintain Mentor profiles in member CRM (HubSpot)
  • Member database audit and clean up of member business profiles
  • Slack: audit and clean up members in Slack (active members/mentors/partners/etc have onboarded, profiles are set up fully, + have been added to all appropriate channels)

    Requirements

    • Extremely detail oriented
    • Comfortable with large database projects
    • High level understanding of Product Management
    • Knowledgeable in Google Suite, HubSpot and CRM tools
    • Understanding or willing to learn simple automation
    • Self-starter and ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Easily able to work on and hop between multiple projects seamlessly
    • Is an incredible communicator and has an honest and conscious approach to their professional life
    • College coursework or previous internship experience is preferred but not required

    Time: Monday - Thursday, 10 am-4 pm (hours and time commitment may be flexible if agreed upon by the supervisor and the internship candidate prior to the start of the internship)

    This internship is from June 6 to August 12, 2022, and can be in-person or virtual.
