The Aspen Partnership for an Inclusive Economy (APIE)
APIE is the first-ever enterprise level initiative of the Institute which seeks to address one of the defining challenges of our time -- growing economic inequality. APIE harnesses assets from across the Institute - combining the ideas, talents and resources of the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to develop solutions to address the growing threat of economic inequality. Through this platform the Aspen Institute seeks to accelerate the tipping point for change.
Basic Function
The Social Media Intern will provide support to APIE and the Institute's Communications and Marketing department in its work to promote the Institute's inclusive economy work and overall brand to external audiences. The job can be performed remotely, but some in-person work may be expected as events and work activities return to in-person.

The Institute has implemented a mandatory COVID vaccination policy for all employees who will work at one of our physical locations, attend any of our in-person events or travel on behalf of the Institute. Staff unable to be vaccinated may request an exemption under certain circumstances.
