PSYCHOLOGIST-DOCTORAL: The purpose of this position is provision of direct service in a school based psychological service intervention program and/or family medicine residency program, along with provision of consultation and professional expertise for teachers, school administration, parents, and/or physicians/.medical residents. Duties include Individual counseling/psychotherapy, group counseling and classroom-based or medical exam room-based intervention, prevention and educational services, parent consultation and family counseling consultation and support to teachers, administrators, school personnel and/ or physicians/ medical residents, psychological and psycho-educational assessment and evaluation, and referral and service coordination with other community agencies and programs. Assists clinical program director with administrative duties, program development, and program evaluation (as directed by program director). Provides clinical supervision and training to graduate students in psychology (as directed by the program director) in accordance with the laws and ethics governing the practice of psychology in the state of Ohio. Performs other clinical, administrative, educational and/or research duties (commensurate with training and ethical scope of practice) as needed and directed by the program director

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Doctorate Degree in Psychology including an APA-approved pre-doctoral clinical internship or equivalent, and completed requisite postdoctoral supervised experience Other Current license to practice Psychology in Ohio

EXPERIENCE: None

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Psychological assessment (incl. standardized tests/checklists); diagnosis/service planning; learning disorders, developmental disabilities, and other conditions that may impact academic/occupational, social, behavioral and emotional adaptive functioning..
