Seeking Critical Care Clinical Nurse Educator!Full time(40 Hours Weekly), DaysBaptist Health Floyd, Critical Care Services
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area*Critical Care Experience Preferred*Baptist Health Floyd is seeking an experienced RN to function as a teacher, expert clinician, change agent, mentor to experienced as well as new staff, and a professional role model. He/she will perform annual assessments of staff learning needs, and plan, implement and evaluate programs based on assessment. He/she will organize and direct new employee orientation in conjunction will unit management. He/she will play a role in performance improvement by assisting in formulation of policies related to care and promoting the integration of evidence based practice at the bedside. He/she will maintain current knowledge of trends, issues, changes in practice or equipment which may impact positively or negatively on patient/family outcomes.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Current Indiana RN license
  • Minimumtwo (2) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Educator or Classroom Instructor preferred
  • Critical Care Experience Preferred
  • BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
  • Certification in area of specialty. If no certification, will obtain certification in area of specialty within first 2 years or as directed by the certifying body
