Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide Campus - Office of Professional Education is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach the UAS discipline.

Course Description:

Instructors teaching under the Worldwide Campus Office of Professional Education are responsible for the complete conduct of each course assigned from beginning to end. They are expected to maintain communications with students within 48 hours of an inquiry. Assignments are to be graded prior to the end of the following week as applicable. If the instructor has a situation that prevents grading or communicating for a short period, the instructor is expected to communicate this to the students and the responsible academic chair for assistance as applicable.

Instructors in the UAS discipline may be asked to participate in supporting practical flight examinations at various locations.

Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including duringtraining.Presently,we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states exceptCalifornia.ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate

  • AUVSI TOP Level 3 Remote Pilot Instructor certification or any FAA instructor certification (CFI, BGI, AGI, etc.)

  • Successful Completion of SUAS 4000FOI Fundamentals of Instruction
