You'll supervise the live control room and begin to manage both broadcasts from planning through live production including personnel, budget, coordinated workflow, maintaining standards for editorial and maximizing resources and opportunities for meaningful journalism.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You're working closely with Senior Executive Producer to hone our vision for evolution, efficient workflows and growth of both broadcasts as they join the NewsHour Productions team in 2022. You've built strong working relationships with not only your broadcast colleagues, but Digital leadership as well. Your ability to work closely with the Digital leadership regarding weekend digital team and production of associated digital and social content around those programs will be invaluable.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Proof of full dosage of a COVID-19 vaccination is required for all positions that will be working onsite, or may reasonably or occasionally be called to work onsite.
