Job/Internship Description
Summary of Responsibilities: The System Operations Engineer - Intern provides a variety of technical engineering support services to the System Operation Center (SOC) to update, develop, and maintain the Energy Management System (EMS) along with other control center automation systems. This role conducts hardware and software engineering work associated with reliable and economic interconnected electric transmission system operations. Essential Responsibilities: * Advanced Network Application (State Estimators, Contingency Analysis, Powerflow, VSAT, PMU, etc) development, maintenance, design, and implementation * SCADA development, maintenance, and implementation * Provides technical support to operations personnel on EMS operation, transmission network security, analysis, simulation, and optimization, supervisory control and data acquisition * Other duties as assigned Number of Openings Available: 1 Posting Date: 2021-10-29-07:00 Time Type: Full time Equal Opportunity Employer: ATC is an equal opportunity employer that seeks to foster diverse teams of talented people working safely together.
