DevSecOps Engineer

Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in McLean, VA that is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a fully remote role. Responsibilities:- In this role, the DevSecOps Engineer will support deployment of applications for on-prem, OCI, and AWS environments
- Participate in on-call application deployment rotation
- Support DevSecOps pipeline in OCI Cloud
- The DevSecOps Engineer will analyze deployment failures to correct problems and ensure applications are deployed to the requested environment
- Identify and recommend appropriate changes to DevSecOps infrastructure to improve performance, reliability and availability
- Develop and automate routine tasks via scripting/coding and automation tools
- Update documentation (e.g., SOPs/TTPs, policies, etc.) to ensure compliance with the organization's policies and requirements
- As a DevSecOps Engineer, this role will monitor ServiceNow ticket queue and triage intake with team members
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificates: Security+
- 8+ years of experience in a relevant position
- Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Linux and WebLogic
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, SonarQube and Nexus/Maven
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure - OCI and AWS
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
