Job Description
Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with over 4,000 lawyers and staff in 31 offices, is seeking to hire a Time Recording Specialist resident in our Philadelphia, PA office. Reporting to the Time Recording Manager, this position supports the time recording function on a firm-wide basis with some supervision and is responsible for processing time entry transfer/edit requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Process transfers and edits to time entries as requested.

  • Provide guidance and training to Fee Generators on the Intapp system.

  • Address inquiries and provide support on the Firm's time recording portal.

  • Assist Fee Generators in connection with their individual time posted.

  • Submit/open new matter requests as needed.

  • Provide management reports and assistance with adherence to the Firm's time recording policy.

  • Proactively identify and review time entries for Responsible Attorney and client compliance.

  • Review Outside Counsel Guidelines and identify information needed for compliance and populate time recording system accordingly as needed.

  • Follow up with Fee Generators regarding unfinalized time.

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong commitment to excellent client service.

  • Team player

  • Planning/organizational skills

  • Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands

  • Demonstrates solid judgment and diplomacy when executing Partner requests and when interacting with all levels of the Firm.

  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality of all financial and systems-related information.
