Professional Civil Engineer - Water Resources - Project Manager - Shreveport, LA

Halff has an opening for a Senior Professional Civil Engineer to work on our Water Resources team in Shreveport, LA as a Project Manager. The responsibilities of this position will be to perform project management, hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, initial design for private and public storm water infrastructure and watershed modeling. Halff is seeking a highly skilled professional to create cost-effective, maintainable and sustainable solutions for municipalities, governmental agencies and developers.

Professional Civil Engineer - Water Resources - Project Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE license in the state of Louisiana or Texas, or can obtain within 6 months
  • 10 years of experience
  • Good technical writing and communication skills
  • Must be proficient in project management, administration and supervision
  • Must have watershed modeling experience
  • Must have technical experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS.
  • Experience with 2D modeling software packages are preferred
  • Knowledge of wave propagation modeling desired
  • Knowledge of restoration practices desired
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple offices and various disciplines.
  • Positive attitude, self-directed
