Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms, seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate, preferably with law firm experience, to join our Healthcare Practice in Washington, Houston or Philadelphia.

The successful applicant must:

* Have significant healthcare law experience, including experience with healthcare transactions and regulatory matters

* Possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization, writing, and analytical skills

* Active bar membership is required

Preferred candidates should have prior healthcare M&A experience (including with drafting transactional agreements, legal and compliance due diligence, and working extensively with corporate/M&A attorneys). Candidates will have demonstrated regulatory experience in the areas of fraud & abuse, state licensure, and corporate practice of medicine/fee splitting rules.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working with clients in the health care industry (including private equity, strategic, and non-provider investors) on general healthcare corporate and regulatory matters
  • Experience assisting with corporate transactions in the health care industry, as well as performing regulatory analysis of transactions and arrangements
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills, along with a strong academic background
