Description

This position serves as a Cardiac Sonographer Intern who is a current student of an approved Echocardiography Program. The Cardiac Sonographer Intern will work in the echocardiography laboratory in the hospital setting with direct supervision from an appropriately credentialed Cardiac Sonographer. The Cardiac Sonographer Intern must be willing to learn all aspects of an echocardiographic exam, have a basic knowledge of cardiac pathology/echo equipment and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Equivalent / GED BLS. Enrolled in an approved Echocardiography Program & w/in 1-2 semesters from grad. RDCS or RCS w/in 1 yr of grad from the Echocardiography Prog.
