Job Description
Camel Expeditionary has been in business since 1919 and is the nation’s longest continuous producer of military tents! We also utilize the technology and expertise to provide shelter systems to commercial industries.

Experience Required
  • 5-7 years of Manufacturing Product
  • Experience with Metal
  • Experience with fabrication a plus but not required

Work Expectations:
  • Lead, empower and develop people and continually foster an environment of working together, and mentorship, while attaining company operational objectives.
  • Oversee daily functions in departments such as CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and scheduling.
  • Continually eliminate waste and improve processes while leading teams to transform towards and sustain operational excellence.
  • Must be able to lead and execute plans quickly and effectively, and be fully accountable to aggressive production targets being hit.
  • Coordinate and direct operational activities of the plant between and help ensure alignment cross-functionally.
  • Help direct, manage, and adhere to various goals in safety, quality, production, and supply chain.
  • Assist in maintaining plant facilities and equipment to a high standard of excellence.
  • Create and keep work and production schedules, goals, and assignments to meet plant objectives.
  • Hiring, training, and coaching of management and operator level employees while not compromising a high bar of excellence.
Essential Functions:
  • Experienced in leading Lean transformations/initiatives
  • Experience in managing production functions such as assembly, CNC machining and fabrication
  • Strategic thinker and executer
  • Collaborative thinker and facilitator with strong sense of teamwork
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills

  • Knowledge of business and management principles, quality, production and supply chain
