Put your career in motion with a new opportunity. Join the Kelly Professional & Industrial Team as a Designer/Drafter. The position is in Duluth, MN with a top client in the production of aerial devices and other equipment for the electric utility and telecommunications industry.

This position will provide technical solutions and design mechanical, hydraulic and electric systems with direct engineering oversight.

Job duties:

• Create and maintain drawings, solid models, system schematics, hydraulic and electrical diagrams, and parts pages
• Work directly with other departments on specifications and requirements
• Create, maintain, and verify Bills of Materials
• Assist in resolution of manufacturing issues
• Participate with new product development teams
• Assist with assembly of prototype machines
• Assist with the creating, execution, and tear-down of component and assembly tests
• Follow all established safety procedures and practices

This job would be a good fit if you have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Four-year applicable degree preferred or two-year applicable degree with two years industry experience
• SolidWorks experience required
• Basic PC skills, utilizing spreadsheets, word processing and databases
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Demonstrated record of responsibility
• Extremely detail oriented
• Motivated, goal oriented and persistent
• High level of initiative; work well in a team environment
• Must manage deadlines well

** Pay Rate $25per hour

** Full Time Hours - M-F 8am - 4:30pm
