Description1st shift
Supervise & train Accounting Assistant in the processing of all payroll information & employee payroll deductions.
Periodically audit the payroll information for accuracy.
Authorize all purchase requisitions & purchase orders and interface with corporate controllers as needed on large purchases.
Supervise the accounts payable function & review all invoices & Account charges.
Monitor all invoices for correct accounting of Sales & Use Taxes.
Authorized to request various bids as needed in accordance with purchasing guidelines & evaluate all quotes.
Develop new ways to computerize information & improve data management.
Interface with corporate Human Resources personnel in the development & implementation of all benefits & personnel policies.
Calculate cost savings & paybacks.
Authorized to initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, processes, and quality system.
Develop (BOM) Bill of Materials in Manufacturing Computer System - PLEX
Performs other essential functions as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Works in a stamping & assembly environment. The team member is subject to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. Compliance is required regarding all Safety, PPE, Quality and Environmental requirements.

Education
Associates of Accounting (preferred)
Experience
Prefer 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. (preferred)
