They're on-air, writing code, working on projects and making valuable contributions to the company. Join our internship program and learn about the world of audio entertainment and get hands-on experience in your field of study.

Position Summary:
SiriusXM + Pandora is looking for an intern to help plan and execute on-site, off-site and virtual events with talent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in on-air contests from concept to prize fulfilment.
  • Participate in on-site and virtual event (music, sports, talk) promotions.
  • Become knowledgeable about SiriusXM + Pandora to promote the product and content at off-site and virtual events.
  • Organize winner's contact information in database.
  • Notify winners and handle prize communication.
  • Gain a working knowledge of national sweepstakes and contest rules and regulations.
  • Plan and execute virtual events, including audience management and communication of virtual event details.
  • Learn how to create proposals for promotional partners.
  • Write copy for online and on-air promotions.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
  • Current or previous enrollment in communications or public relations classes preferred.

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Good project management and planning skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Familiar with SiriusXM + Pandora programming.
  • Must be available in the evenings and occasionally on weekends (as events demand).
  • Ability to lift and move equipment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
