Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and handling guests visiting the SiriusXM NYC studios. The coordinator will be working closely with talent directors in pursuing and booking guests and general department organizational needs. In addition, the position requires managing artist schedules, handling all hospitality requests and coordinating artist visits with programming department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate visiting artists' interview schedules.
  • Escort talent to/from bookings.
  • Maintain relationships with all necessary departments.
  • Handle all hospitality requests made by visiting guests.
  • Organize and file releases and photos into shared drive files.
  • Preparing talent documents

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years' experience within the entertainment/media industry preferred

Requirements and General Skills:

  • Good public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to -internal client- and customer service principles.
  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
  • Creative writing ability.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
