ADAS Validation Intern

Introduction

As the ADAS Validation Intern you will report to lead engineers as well as managers. This role will take place at Visteon Headquarters in Michigan located in Van Buren Township. You will be working with a variety of people in management positions, engineering positions, as well as have the opportunity to work with other interns.

The Role

In this role typical duties will include:

• Testing and validation
• Software development for ADAS projects
• Software verification
• Software Integration
• Machine Learning
• Computer Vision
• Vehicle to Vehicle infrastructure

The Requirements

To be a good fit for the ADAS Validation Internship you will have:

• Years of Experience: Four-Year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, working towards a Masters in Engineering.
• Degree: required, strongly preferred: Current enrollment in a Master's program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related majors.

Desired Competencies:

• Working knowledge of C programming, embedded emulators/debuggers, Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow, script development, Embedded s/w testing
• Experience with Python
• Self-starter, highly motivated, ability to quickly understand and complete tasks with guidance from experienced engineers
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
