This position is included in Pay Group E with a starting pay range of $22.00-$25.00 an hour.

SUMMARY: To install, diagnose, repair and perform preventive maintenance on security systems including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), cameras, access control and fire alarm.

- Install, trouble shoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on closed circuit television (CCTV) systems
- Install, trouble shoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems
- Install, trouble shoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on access control and security alarm systems
- Install, trouble shoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on other low voltage systems including paging, bingo systems and wireless receive
- Perform other general maintenance and administrative tasks

IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- High level organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair specialized equipment

Preferred:
- 2-year degree in in computer networking
- 2 years work experience and/or completion of formal training with CCTV, computer networking, alarms, electrical and/or other related fields
- Proven familiarity with fire prevention and suppression systems
