Job Description

As a Lead Financial Alignment Executive you will manage a large or complex portfolio of strategic financial relationships within client base and overall health care industry. You will participate in the analysis of current state, future state and risk analysis, and communicate the impact of revenue cycle solutions and industry market trends. This role will allow you to identify opportunities for and develop an execution plan to achieve improvements in yield, net revenue, cash acceleration, cost reduction and patient satisfaction as well as drive adoption of solutions, services, benefits, and uses by internal and external customers. In scope will be to communicate the benefits of the revenue cycle solutions and advise on best practices and advocate for alignment with consulting and support organization. You will collaborate with internal and external leadership to develop an overall understanding of processes and operational opportunities as well as develop client-specific roadmaps relating to revenue cycle. You will contribute ideas to the design, development and deployment of clinically-driven revenue cycle solutions and services. Finally you will create and deploy client reference strategy and promote advocacy for revenue cycle solutions.

People management responsibilities may include seeking to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. This role will allow you to lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments. You will provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development. In scope will be to identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 3 years of client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing work experience
    • At least 7 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Certified Health Professional (CHP) - CHP
  • Certified Medical Practice Executive - American College of Medical Practice Executives
  • Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) - American College of Healthcare Executives
  • Fellow of Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
  • Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) - Healthcare Financial Management Association
  • Be familiar w/ Cerner front end revenue cycle tools

Expectations:

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to an already virtually approved location
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
