Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager you will provide day-to-day management of projects including risk management, stakeholder communications, and interdependencies between projects or programs. As a member of this team, you will manage project implementation, obtain requirements, evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope of multiple complex projects and overcome barriers. You will be responsible for networking across organizations to drive initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and alignment. This includes creating, monitoring, and providing ongoing communications to appropriate stakeholders while coaching and facilitating the effectiveness of a team by growing their capabilities to organize, manage, and make decisions. You will also identify risk areas and provide alternate strategies to leadership that address concerns as well as manage interdependencies or dependencies between projects or programs in addition to managing project process documentation.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • At least 2 years of project/program management work experience
    • At least 6 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree
  • Healthcare IT project management experience and working knowledge of hospital and clinic departmental workflows
  • Project Management Professional (PMP, PMI)
  • At least 2 years of people management work experience
Expectations
  • Must reside within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
  • Advanced knowledge of current IT and Healthcare technologies
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
