We are looking to hire an experienced Traffic Engineer to be based in our Lincoln, NE office. We offer opportunities to work with local agencies and DOTs on a variety of complex projects. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and have significant experience in client development and pursuing, managing, and providing traffic engineering services for public agencies, including DOTs, counties, and municipalities.

• Perform design calculations, and assist with design development
• Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items
• Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
• Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned
• Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Professional Traffic Operations Engineering Registration in NE or through reciprocity from other State
• Experience working on NDOT, City of Lincoln &/or City of Omaha Projects
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in traffic engineering
• A track record of adhering to project budgets and project schedules
• Must be proficient in roadway design principles including NDOT design standards and AASHTO design manual
