Senior Professional Engineer of Water Resources - Tampa, FL
Genesis-Halff has an immediate opening for an experienced Professional Civil Engineer to fulfill the role of a Senior Professional specializing in Water Resources in Tampa, FL. this position is also open to any Florida office: Chipley, Jacksonville, Miramar Beach, Tallahassee, and Tampa. This is a strategic leadership position to expand our water resource practice in Florida. The ideal candidate will bring experience working with Florida Department of Environmental Protection, FEMA, FDOT and local municipalities.
The successful candidate should have proven experience in managing existing clients, developing new clients, managing a production team, and leading project delivery. In addition, the position requires technical experience and/or familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, water resources planning, and design for private and public stormwater infrastructure.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE license in the state of Florida or can obtain within 6 months
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Water Resource project delivery
  • Robust communication, written and verbal, skills
  • Proficient in project management, administration and supervision of technical staff
  • Technical experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and 2D Modeling as well as Coastal Surge and wave propagation software packages
  • Proven business development experience
  • Positive attitude, self-directed yet a team player, with a focus on integrity and quality.
