Position Summary:

Responsible for organizing, cataloging, and reviewing audio programs and content including metadata entry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and catalog audio programs.
  • Review audio and create descriptive metadata
  • Ingesting audio content into a media asset management system
  • Transferring and entering metadata.
  • Saving audio and metadata to archiving database.
  • Interfacing with Programming staff as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish- English) - speaking, writing, and presenting.
  • 1 year previous experience with radio programming and/or library cataloging systems
  • This position requires the use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As required by ITAR, to perform this position you must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
  • Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
