As the Jr Data Engineer you will assist with development of solutions to enable or improve access to data and data usage. You will aggregate and analyze various data sets to provide actionable insight and develop reports, dashboards, and tools for key business stakeholders. Also, the Jr Data Engineer is a data pipeline builder and who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. You must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams and driving overall business objectives.

• Taking data from source destinations and assisting with ETL pipelines to our Salesforce and AWS environments
• Being a driving force for technological betterment and process improvement throughout the organization
• Working with A.O. Smith's technology group on joint ventures/projects and translating business problems into technical requirement
• Educate Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and other stakeholders on the information we have at our disposal and how they might leverage it toward their objectives
• Work closely with IT and Marketing in the implementation of new initiatives/campaigns

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Management, Mathematics or related field/Boot Camp Certificate.
• Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.*
• Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytic skills, combine with a curiosity of data.
• Ability in manipulating, processing and extracting value from datasets.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
