As a member of our Android engineering team, you will have the opportunity to work directly on the SiriusXM app across mobile, TV, and Automotive platforms, impacting the audio entertainment experience for millions of listeners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Native Android development
• 3+ years with Kotlin

• Expert knowledge of developing, testing and debugging mobile applications using Android/Kotlin
• Released multiple apps into the Google Play Store
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Experience with latest open-source libraries and Google Android Frameworks
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
• Dedication to thorough testing and creating high quality software.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

• Experience with Kotlin and latest Android features and technologies
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines - Flows and Channels
• Experience with Android Jetpack libraries
• Experience architecting cross functional solutions across mobile and backend teams
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience with streaming technologies and audio/video playback through ExoPlayer.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
