As we evolve over the next few years, we need to ensure current business continuity is maintained as we assess how we can best support our customers specifically as it relates to the our systems and processes with ensuring we leverage all of our internal and external partnerships.
Komatsu is looking for a Tech Writer who is able to successfully manage projects. This individual must have a passion for technical communication, ready to help us redefine the user experience of our customers.
The Tech Writer manages projects as it relates to content development and delivery for operation manuals, service manuals, and parts catalogues. They collaborate with our writing teams as well as engineers, field personnel, and trainers to maintain and improve quality and delivery. They ensure that content is accurate, complete, and meets quality and style standards. Additionally, support establishing writing standards and style guidelines, researching innovative new solutions to legacy methods of writing to improve the customer experience.
This position is located at our Cartersville Customer Center which hosts year round distributor and customer events(or can be located at our Chattanooga, TN manufacturing operations which is an hour away). In addition, this position has access to the equipment on our demo site. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain exposure to many cross functional departments that include Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Training and Product Managers.
