What you'll achieve As Global Security Operations Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support toDell's Global Security & Resiliency Organization on a variety of security and resiliency related legal matters, including corporate & physical security, disaster recover governance, crisis management, business continuity, insider threat and fraud investigations. As part of your role, you will work with cross-functional business functions, including: Facilities, Health & Safety, Supply Chain Security, Cybersecurity, IT and Ethics & Compliance. You will: Provide legal advice and counsel to the Dell Security & Resiliency Organization on the development of policies, procedures, protocols, assessments related to Global Security Operations Identify, assess, communicate, and provide oversight and strategic guidance on new or proposed legal and regulatory requirements, emerging legal and regulatory risks and trends applicable to Dell's Global Security Operations organization Provide legal support to Dell's Crisis Management Team, as required Work with the Global Security Operations and Investigations teams to investigate and respond to corporate security incidents and insider threat matters; determine legal and regulatory responsibilities, provide guidance on mitigation and remediation efforts, and advise on corrective actions, as required Support enterprise resiliency/disaster recovery and physical security aspects of Go-to-Market launches for new products and creation of security-related governance documents and related contract templates Work with cross functional team members on global security operations projects to improve processes and increase scalability Take the first step towards your dream career Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Must have a law degree from a recognized university and be admitted to a recognized bar 5-7 years of in-house, law firm or government experience supporting corporate/physical security, security operations and/or enterprise resiliency/disaster recovery programs Experience with premise liability matters, negligent security claims and standards of care within the Global Security Operations purview e.g. travel risk management, workplace and extreme violence, etc. Experience in providing enterprise crisis management legal support and/or supporting crisis response teams Experience advising on legal matters involving engagement with law enforcement agencies or national security authorities domestically and internationally and/or litigating criminal cases Desirable Requirements 3+ years of investigations-related experience, or experience advising investigators Legal experience in supporting and advising on complex fraud and/or insider threat programs, investigations, and activities; understanding of cybersecurity technical concepts, methodologies and the evolving legal landscape to include the ability to analyze and communicate technical concepts in legal terms Experience in legal project management and legal risk management, involving supply chain security Here's our story; now tell us yours Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
