Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.**Summary:** Facebook seeks a highly motivated attorney who is enthusiastic about technology and its potential for positive impact in peoples' lives to join Facebook's privacy counseling legal team. The successful candidate will be the Privacy Legal Youth, focused on supporting Facebook's youth-related products and experiences, and it will require significant cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, policy, operations, and business teams, as well as other legal subject matter experts. This role will also manage the privacy legal counseling team focused on integrity issues across Facebook. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing legal team and to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment, as we build and scale for our global community.**Required Skills:** 1. Maintain subject matter expertise in areas of privacy and data protection laws (including state and federal privacy laws and GDPR)2. Develop and maintain Youth in areas of data use and privacy laws globally and advise on the impact of the same on Facebook's business3. Lead and coordinate privacy legal counseling for Youth related issues globally and across multiple product areas4. Work with multiple cross-functional teams on strategic and tactical implementation of compliance processes and policies5. Assist product lawyers and members of the business in evaluating the impact of privacy laws, regulatory guidance and enforcement actions on integrity and Youth related issues6. Assist in the development and conduct of general and role-specific privacy trainings across Facebook**Minimum Qualifications:** 7. J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar8. 8+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience9. Experience working knowledge of youth/minor related privacy issues and laws10. Experience advising on privacy legal risks and mitigations, with working knowledge of relevant privacy laws such as CCPA, GDPR or LGPD11. Business judgment and client counseling experience**Preferred Qualifications:** 12. In-house experience with applicable litigation, regulatory, or product counseling, particularly at a technology company13. Experience leading a team of attorneys and set employee goals and objectives14. Experience advancing projects in a multi-stakeholder environment15.
