Description
The Accounting Internship will consist of professional as well as administrative tasks. Interns may assist with the accounting and financial functions of our outpatient surgery centers as well as assist with general accounting department tasks. Interns will demonstrate the practical application of the following duties:
Duties include:
Regular and reliable attendance required.
Successful candidate will pass a background check and drug screen.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
Qualified candidates should be in pursuit of a Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration, be detail oriented, have an ability to work independently while working on multiple projects simultaneously, and possess strong computer and excel skills.
Other Qualifications:
Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. Must be able to work well with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and efficiency.
