Intern, Trade Compliance & Operations

Job Description

Hydro Extrusion Trade Compliance team is seeking a summer intern to support our Post-Entry Verification process. This is a project-based internship that will allow the student to learn about the customs process within the supply chain and take ownership of establishing a process with the support of the Trade Compliance team.

Duties

  • Download entry packets from online portal and save to shared folder
  • Compare invoices to reports to verify data entry has been completed accurately
  • Update broker scorecard to reflect results of verification
  • Create metrics and reports to show trend analysis

Education and Experience

  • Student in good standing from Winter 2021 semester
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a professional collaborative environment
  • Ability to work independently
