The Rossier School of Education is seeking an experienced Webmaster to join its Management Information Systems Team.

The Webmaster will be a member of the technology team that is directly responsible for providing excellent customer support for faculty, staff, and students in an effort to ensure the highest visibility for Rossier programs, activities, and achievements. The Webmaster will be responsible for developing managing the existing the School's web server infrastructure as well as the development of new technologies that further the school's web goals. The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, leadership, and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work and lead in a varied, fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who is skilled in web design, development, and implementation of custom website(s). The person must have a strong understanding of and proficient experience with HTML, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS 2/3, AJAX, PHP, ASP, MySQL, JSP, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, WordPress and Drupal CMS experience with graphics design packages and a basic understanding of relational databases. The Webmaster is directly responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and monitoring web-based and other custom software applications. The person will troubleshoot technical design issues, content updating, and other technical support related to the web. Balancing a creative eye with an analytical mind is essential. The Webmaster must have a solid knowledge web related technologies, methodologies, best practices, and User Experience design (UX) as well as the ability to translate design into the appropriate coding that fits the solution. This position will work collaboratively with larger team structures to coordinate vision, direction, and development of the Rossier web presence and long-term plans.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, Combined work experience and education as equivalent Minimum Experience: 2 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Experience in Web page design, Web site management and Web graphic design. Knowledge of Web programming techniques and protocols. Knowledge of multiple operating systems.
