Job Description
Amazon Pay, one of the fastest-growing businesses within Amazon, is looking for an experienced Senior Partner Development Manager to manage our relationships with our most strategic eCommerce solution provider partners. You will develop, drive, and manage execution of global, strategic plans for a small portfolio of high-impact partnerships. You will report to the Head of Partnerships for Pay Americas and be a member of the Americas Partner Team.

What is Amazon Pay?

Amazon Pay is a high growth startup business within Amazon. Started in 2015, Amazon Pay is now available in 18 countries, allowing buyers to leverage Amazon's trusted, convenient, and rewarding wallet for 3rd party purchase experiences online, in-store, and with Alexa.

As a Senior Partner Development Manager on the Americas Partner team, what exactly would I do?

Partner Development Managers at Pay are strategic thinkers. You think long term and are always looking around corners to anticipate future possibilities. You are a data-driven, clear communicator (both written and verbal), organized, and have a proven track record of getting things done. You are comfortable thinking big in a fast-paced environment.

You will:
* Become a subject matter expert, defining success criteria and communicating the needs of your partners and their merchants*
* Determine and evangelize the strategy for your partnerships
* Build a multi-level relationship engagement between partner organizations and Amazon
* Drive partner executive engagement at the global level and ensure global decisions cascade to the regional and local levels
* Partner with internal and external teams to guide the direction of our product offerings and third-party integration strategy
* Identify opportunities to cross-sell Amazon Marketplace, AWS, Fulfillment by Amazon, Multi-Channel Fulfillment, Amazon Business, Alexa, Gift Cards, and others
* Manage both internal partner plans and joint plans with each managed partner, identify opportunities and input/output goals for each partner and coordinate with the extended team to deliver results
* Manage complex partner contract negotiations
* Optimize marketing engagements with the partner to reach their merchant base
* Lead the development, updating and delivery of key partner account plans to senior management
* Achieve immediate resolution of high priority issues through stakeholder teams and appropriate escalation
* Drive content for internal business communications highlighting various initiatives, successes, and improvement opportunities through voice of the partner
* Prioritize the needs of partners and their merchants in a manner that balances partners'/merchants' needs and internal priorities
* Prepare and lead regular, periodic business reviews with the partner and Amazon senior management teams
