Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and direct the daily activites to ensure the successful operation of a Goodwill store.
  • Responsible for hiring, orientation, training, development, coaching and termination of store staff. Enforces and communicates Goodwill policies and procedures.
  • Ensures store operates within parameters of established budget.
  • Ensures compliance with all asset protection policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that safe working conditions and work practices are enforced.
  • Provides excellent customer service at all times.

Job Qualifications:
High school diploma plus four years experience with two years of supervisory experience; or for internal applicants, two years supervisory experience job specification may be waived if the internal applicant has either: Successfully completed the 9 month MMIT program or successfully completed the HR module of the MIT program.
Retail environment preferred.
POS experience preferred.
Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Must have valid PA drivers license and reliable transportation.
Flexible work schedule to include evenings and weekends.
Physical and Essential Basic Requirements
Ability to speak, hear, read, and write and have basic business math skills.
Ability to use business equipment such as phone, cash register, fax, charge machines, computer and basic working knowledge of Windows programs and email.
Ability to stand most of the day.
Ability to stoop, bend, crawl and climb.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 30 pounds frequently.
Must complete and successfully pass State background check, Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance.
Other Relevant Job Information:
Salary range based on store revenue.
Must be able to work days, nights and weekends.
