Job Description
Aon is looking for an Account Specialist I As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Commercial Risk, in Chicago, IL. Your impact as an Account Specialist I Job Responsibilities: * Work as part of a client service team, in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. * Create and maintain effective and productive relationships with insurance markets. * Responsible for day-to-day servicing of professional service firm clients to include professional liability, management liability, employment practices liability and other insurance programs. * Proactively coordinate renewal cycle to ensure all necessary steps are completed in a timely fashion. * Able to be conversant with insurance policy terms and conditions specific to the lines of insurance being serviced. * Ensure all files maintained in a timely fashion. * Maintain daily diary and outstanding list on all client accounts. * Maintain detailed electronic and paper file notes. * Ensure compliance with Aon or Professional Services systems or processes, including, but not limited to: Client Promise; Global Risk Insight Platform (GRIP); File Insert System; Bridge and Policy Intake & Delivery System. * Conform to internal transparency and other Professional Services and Aon protocols. * Resolve accounting discrepancies. * Undertake various duties as assigned. You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience: * While no prior experience is required, typically at least 2 years of successful business experience, preferably with corporate accounts/customers. * Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required. * Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools. Preferred Experience: * P&C license - if you do not currently hold a P&C license, one must be obtained within the first 90 days.
