Job Description
Description * Contact patients to inform them of the delinquent status of their account(s) and collect monies owed to the Practice. * Communicate with insurance carriers when coverage has been rejected or sent to incorrect insurance company. * Issue form letters to those patients who have not responded to verbal request for payment of services. * Process all information involving NSF checks using established policy and procedures. * Oversee return of insurance overpayments. * Create and forward monthly report of "Out To Collection" patients to Administrator. * Coordinate the collection accounts between collection agencies, E& P and the patient. * Prepare accounts for Collection Agency.Top 3 Requirements: * One to two years of prior business office experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
