Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Description
Accounts Receivable Representative that is responsible for accurate and timely invoicing to insure prompt and undisputed payment for products and services based on the customer terms and/or contract. Experience 1-3 years Professional experience in a corporate environment. Accounts Receivable and /or credit & collections experience is a plus Undergraduate degree strongly preferred (accounting or finance concentration a plus) Advanced skills using financial applications required (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Navision) Strong Computer Skill-set including: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel(formulas, vlookup and pivot tables), Word Practical experience with Lotus Notes e-mail a plus Attributes Self-Motivated, Attention to Detail, Critical Thinker, Customer Focused Problem Solving, Job Requirements: Perform day-to-day activities related to accounts receivables portfolio management. Contact all customers regarding past due balances base on account terms and contract, Reprint and resend requested documents to expedite payments, Develop and maintain an A/R contact with all customers to insure good working relationships. Prepare and email monthly aging reports to all customers. Update customer information in the production system (proprietary system CrossTrack and on LotusNotes e-mail distribution list). Review customer invoices for errors. Re-bill incorrect invoices where applicable. Receive and process credit requests from customers including explanations. Create Credit Memos when approved in both CrossTrak and the general ledger. Perform customer claim research and account reconciliations. Perform customer payment research.
