Senior Account Receivable Specialist

Job Description
The Sr. Account Receivable Specialist will perform various accounts receivable functions and assist credit manager with the accounts credit review process. There is a late coverage availability requirement (7-8pm) once / week and Saturday remote coverage of 1 hour (3-4pm) once a month.Job Responsibilities:+ Make collection calls and follow up on past due with customers for assigned portfolio + Responsible for day-to-day customer credit evaluation + Review credit exposure for new and existing customer using analysis of Financial Statements, D Reports and other data + Responsible for new account set up and data validation process + Investigate and screen (new and existing) customers for fraudulent information. + Initiate reconciliation of disputed accounts receivable to resolve discrepancies in conjunction with both sales and customer service areas + Update customer information in the system + Process credit card payments online + Order release/ hold + Assist with payment application and reconciliation + Apply customer credit card payments and reconcile accounts + Invoicing via customer portal + Generate dunning notices from system, follow up on responses + Keep accurate filing system + Interacts with all Business Units, sales, customer service, finance, and other internal departments concerning credit and customer service issues + Perform other accounting duties as assigned by Credit Manager.
