Job Description
Overview The Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US. We deliver solutions for workflow, consultative services, remote monitoring, color standardization and G7 implementation, pressroom products, CTP, proofing, digital printing, wide format and more. FUJIFILM also manufactures and distributes Sericol inks and is a leader in the development of UV inks for the screen printing, narrow web, and large format digital printing industries.We are currently hiring for a Credit/Collections Specialist (internally known as a Credit Analyst) in our Hanover Park, Illinois location. The Credit/Collections Specialist is, under general supervision, responsible for collecting outstanding balances on all accounts, reconciling customer accounts, establishing credit worthiness and performing internal investigations to resolve discrepancies on customer accounts. External US Essential Functions:Extend credit to new customers by performing preliminary credit analysis in determining customer credit status and reviewing existing customers credit lineEnter new accounts into computer system and maintaining all A/R account informationAnalyze financial data, compile reports and review each assigned account and make recommendations as to the size of the customers credit lineConduct research, outbound calls to customers, write-offs, suspension of credit, reconciliation of charge backsEnsure that orders are released in a timely manner and customer balances are collected within terms. Conduct account credit reviews, order releases, credit holds, reconcile customer accounts and collect on equipment leases and contracts while minimizing bad debt lossApprove or reject customer deals within approved credit authorityWork as liaison with all departmentsWorks closely with branch, accounting and customer contacts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables to achieve DSO targetsHeavy phone contact with customers (weekly calls to all accounts with past due receivables) Prepare monthly reports summarizing past due account status and receivable aging trendsWork closely with Credit Manager / Collection Attorney to prepare claims for legal actionMaintain confidential information appropriatelyAdditional Responsibilities:Provide credit references for our customers, as requiredMay act as back-up for other Credit AnalystsPerform related duties as assigned by managerEducation and Experience Required:High school diploma or GED equivalent A Bachelors degree is preferred in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience2 years of Credit and Collection experience - preferredExperience analyzing financial statementsAbility to communicate with vendors and clients in an efficient and professional manner Possess necessary skills/attributes to include excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), working knowledge of Microsoft applications and outstanding customer serviceWorking knowledge of SAP FSCMFUJIFILM is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
