Supports recruitment, marketing, & research activities of the Art therapy & Counseling Program. To assist the program and full time art therapy faculty in recruitment of applicants, marketing the program, and research activities.

Data entry for recruitment in the EVMS EMP student information system & program spreadsheets.
• Correspondence for applicant recruitment and manage correspondence for EMP.
• Manage social media: Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, Handshake for the EVMS ATC
• Work with EVMS Marketing to promote the program and information sessions.
• Work with the Office of Admissions for development of prospects, inquiries, and applicants.
• Present webinars about the program & attend graduate and career fairs (virtual or face-to-face).
• Locate funding sources for art therapy services & research; collaborate with EVMS Development
• Attend community collaborations (Synapse) to promote EVMS Arts for Optimal Health Programs.
• Read, comprehend, and summarize scholarly papers.
• Understanding that all research, materials, and writings generated by the research assistant are for and owned by EVMS.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree, prefer an individual that is familiar applicant recruitment and marketing through social media. Use of email, webinars, and social media posting technologies and skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
