Spacesaver is currently recruiting for a Production Coordinator on 1st shift.

This position is Full Time with a wage starting at $25.50/hr.

Production Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Operational training of new team members and existing team members in our ERP System.
  • Development of operator instructions, standardized work practices, problem solving efforts, skill achievement verification, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Communication daily with Buyers/Planners/Production Managers/Supervisors.
  • Validate shop order statuses at the end of the shift.
  • Audit shop orders for material, labor, quality and inventory.
  • Manage scrap and replacements.
  • Perform supervisor duties in his/her absence, as required.

Production Coordinator Schedule:

  • 4 ten hour days, Monday through Thursday, 4am-2pm
  • Mandatory OT on Fridays
  • Mandatory OT every other Saturday as needed

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand a minimum of 8 hours on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes.

Required Skills

A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates will have 3 years of manufacturing experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of manufacturing experience. Solid PC experience, including Microsoft Office applications is a plus. Qualified candidates must have previous experience training team members of all competency levels, specifically in ERP System use, is preferred. The ability to read tape measures and efficiently operate all other required measuring devices. Candidates best suited for this role will have a proven ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment, good time management and organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and have strong oral and written communication. Basic ability to read, write, speak, and understand English is required for safety purposes.
