WORK PROJECTS:

Human Resources interns are exposed to various aspects of the department including recruiting, compensation, retention, training and development, benefits and more. Interns are knowledgeable of Marathon's policies, processes and procedures; and provide assistance to their assigned client groups. Interns may work in any one of the Marathon Centers of Excellence (COE) including: Core HR Services (AskHR), Recruiting, Compensation, Diversity, Talent Development and/or Benefits.

Projects may include but are not limited to:

• Provide recruiting support for Recruiting Team
• Provide support in the Onboarding process including New Hire Orientation
• Provide support and update HR knowledge based in our SharePoint and potential chat bot
• Researching and recommending process improvements for special projects
• Providing organizational support where needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• • Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development/Management, Industrial/Labor Relations or other related degree
  • Students must maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
  • Have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. on a full-time, indefinite basis without need for sponsorship now or in the future.
