Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Electroplating operator to take responsibility for and run all aspects of an electroplating production line.  The candidate must be able to accurately follow written procedures, adjust bath chemistry, and be able to inspect raw and finished product using a variety of inspection methods and equipment.
·        Sets. Starts, and shutdowns electroplating lines
·        Works to achieve scheduling priorities on the line
·        Tracking of key metrics to constantly drive continuous improvement
·        Work to ensure safe practices and company policies and procedures are being followed
·        Work closely with production supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
·        Work closely with support supervisors to coordinate and schedule tasks/projects
·        Work to ensure ongoing success of company maintenance plans and objectives
·        Work to ensure ongoing success of company housekeeping and organization objectives
·        Reads and accurately interpret shop paper, provides feedback on issues and changes
·        Performs other assigned duties to achieve the goals of the department and company

Qualifications and Education Requirements
A successful candidate must be a team oriented person with good communication skills.  A successful candidate must be able to excel at the following:

Preferred Skills
·        Strong Chemistry background
·        Strong Mathematic background
·        Good Organizational skills
·        Electroplating/Metal Finishing experience
·        ISO quality mgmt systems experience
·        Forklift license a plus

Physical Demands:
·        The ability to lift 50 pounds


Work Environment:
The work environment is a fast paced, manufacturing job-shop.  A variety of chemical baths are used on manufacturing floor on a daily basis and proper care and focus must be taken to ensure safety.  Communication and teamwork are highly valued within the company as well as the push for continual improvement.
