ECP Incorporated is currently seeking an experienced Claims Representative who has the ability to define problems, collect data and demonstrate attention to detail. We are searching for a Claims Representative that has had experience dealing with body shops and understanding estimates and corresponding with consumers.

Summary:

Responsible for processing product warranty insurance claims and corresponding with customers, insurance adjusters and distributors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receives warranty claims from customers. Sets up files, enters claim information in computer, types correspondence to customers for a designated territory.
• Corresponds with customers, adjusters and distributors regarding warranty claims. Coordinates the processing of claims with inspection center, damage estimate review, and payment request.
• Negotiates rates and services with providers to ensure the most cost effective remedy is utilized
• Maintains computer notes regarding information on individual claims.
• Maintains contact with customers, sales representatives, and appraisers on problem claims.
• Initiates approval and denial letters for claims with the assistance of the Administration Supervisor.
• Inputs claims check requests for Administration Supervisor approval.

Education and Experience:2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
